if you can't trust, then you shouldn't be in a relationship. call me a sucker or not, but in a relationship, the girl has my trust until she has proven otherwise (and I'd break up with her once I can no longer trust her)

A lot of people have issues lol

They may have trust issues from prior relationships where they were cheated on in the past, or other things like that.

I'll go with that as being my problem lol

Depends on the maturity of your relationship I guess.

I dont understand why a guy should get jealous if a guy hits on his girlfriend. UNLESS she flirts back.

I don't either. I'm not the jealous type at all so I have no idea why. But like I said about Yohan's, it could come from issues in the past.

I know because I've been on the receiving end of it quite a few times lol (me being friends someone's gf).

Simple solution: Don't get into a relationship with a person who has trust issues .... The relationship is only destined to fail.

And on the flip side... if you have trust issues (not you Jeff), then don't date till you are ready. Go see a therapist.

which is one of the reasons why i don't date fobs.

though the good ones know how to treat their man like a prince (and can cook unlike so many girls nowadays) lol

there is one exception to the rule in SK yohan...and that would be the girl from the rich family that wants a non korean man due to it being somewhat of a status symbol...

anyway, different thread completely...although i must say having the privilege to experience that culture first hand (as a non korean) certainly gave me new angles and insight on life.

I guess my suggestion is pretty summed up to what people have already posted. But I guess it's really up to your tolerance to compromise with her and vice versa. Otherwise, you're wasting each other's time.

edit: It doesn't seem like that you guys haven't been dating that long so maybe "test the waters." Suggest to her you guys go to an EDM event in return you will go to an event she's into. If that's a disaster, then move on.

I tried this as well, and well, the bf didn't want to go to an EDM event. I guess it depends on the person, but I was tolerant to respect his decision. If you're not as tolerant as me, and this happens, then I guess she's not the one for you.

+1....especially when the "scene" that everyone thinks of doesn't even really exist anymore.

Sure, if they can tolerate EDM, and also tolerate my intolerance of what ever garbage they're listening to...

Honestly though, I don't mind rock and alternative, it's good to mix it up every once in a while. Hiphop/R&B/top 40s make me want to gauge my eyes out with a rusty fork. So it really depends on what the different music is.
