Here are some extra facts from what I saw on pictures:

Clubs that use the Xone 92 as their main mixer:

Berghain/Panoramabar (Berlin)
Watergate (Berlin
DC10 (Ibiza)
Robert Johnson (Offenbach)
Cocoon Club (Frankfurt)
Sub Club (Glasgow)
Cielo (NYC)
Weekend (Berlin)
Bar 25 (Berlin)
Zouk (Singapore)

Clubs that use the DJM 800 as their main mixer:

Fabric (London)
Space (Ibiza)
The End (London)
Amnesia (Ibiza)
Ministry of Sound (London) they switched from a Xone 92 to a DJM 800

Random fact:

Tiesto used the Xone 92 in his Tiesto in Concert in 2004.

quick question for you guys who use the xone 92.. is there a way when cueing a song to make the current track louder in your headphones? I got the knob that "adds mix" all the way to the right, and the current song playing is not that loud in the headphones. I want the current track volume to match the volume of the cue song.

It's not a huge deal but was just wondering if it's possible or not, without messing with the headphone volume / gain (if I increase the gain anymore I red line)

All the way to the right is about a 50/50 mix, which isn't as nice as what I have on my Rane, where the middle is 50/50, all the way right is just the main mix out with no cue.

What you can do is drop the gain for the cued track, and bring it back up before you mix in.

These clubs change mixers all the time and often if a big DJ is playing (i.e. carl cox) they have to swap it out for the preference (i.e. Vestex CX 500). I've been to some clubs three weeks in a row and not seen the same mixer each time.

It's not even an advantage. It's bad. That dual mid is the most annoying thing ever.

I hate playing on stupid xones everytime I play in Montreal. Those pieces of crap fuck me up completely.

Then again, I play hardcore and those mixers are completely useless for hardcore. Faders are too long, knobs are too tight, knobs are too close together, EQ ranges are not good for what I play, etc.

I have a DJM-800. Definitely the best mixer out there [for what I do at least], right now. I had a Nuo 5 before, which was great (especially the EQ), but the DJM-800 blows it out of the water. The only thing I don't like is that the recording output is RCA, I wish it had a balanced out.

I've owned the Xone 62 + 92, and the DJM 600. I preferred the DJm over the Xone 62, but much preferred the Xone 92 to the DJM. I play on the DJM 800 quite a lot, and every time I get a chance to play on the 92 out, its a breathe of fresh air. The DJM series are solid IMO, but they seem to have a toyish feel compared to the higher end Xones. The effects are ok at best. My personal preference anyway.

If you don't know how to use extra EQs don't blame it on the mixer!

That's your problem, not an extra mid EQ knob.
