Fahad will explain,

But the jist is that he left his jacket somewhere and had his car keys in it, and his jacket ended up going missing...

HOLY SHIT MENNO!!!!!
He absolutely RIPPED the room apart, played a fantastic set! Some good HARD tunes!
Great thing was that there was so much space to dance around, Guv was not overly full whatsoever!
So nice to see everyone out and nice to meet the Ear, Elyot, Ravist and DeletefromUsers!
SUCH a great night, definitely ranks up there with one of the best parties...guess that means we'll just have to outdo this one for Sander

Jesus! 3-4 posts Mars!

quick review...i've been at the office today

one hour was gone from the night looking for my jacket which had my car keys and id...i was so fucking stupid for not checking it in (which I rarely have done in the past 3 years) but today was the day i learned my lesson. someone picked my jacket from the stage area accidentally when they took theirs and it was AWOL for 1 hr, during which time I scoured the club and asked every fucking security guy and walked through the floor scanning people's hands and even went to the parking lot to make sure my car was still there and went through the rows of cars to make sure no one was "searching"...I had my sweaty t-shirt on in minus-zero temp so now I'm sick.

anyway, that kinda took away from Menno's set for me which started bloody amazing, I loved the hard stuff he was playing...after about 5 tracks I noticed my jacket was gone...lol this is more a review about my jacket than anything else.

LOL when I was outside I also met with Charles who was very empathetic and wanted to help me out, very nice guy.

Anyway, I was dying to hear Gareth for ages and to be quite honest I really didn't get into his set...firstly I showed up late (1:45) and he started at 1 I believe, and he was only on for 1 hr and 45 min!!! Menno came on at 2:45 so I just heard Gareth for 1 hr. Can't even remember a single track he played, I wasn't into it yet

Sorry to disappoint, nats! I hope I won't be so stupid and show up early next time so by the time Gareth comes on I'll be warmed up...

SO NICE to see everyone again after so long and Sean Winnett, thanks again, buddy, you are fucking awesome.

And this, my friends, is why Piet is SO MUCH "the man."

Rank 1 FTW. Always. Hahaha

Well, good night overall. Bloody upset, I arrived at around 1am, and found out just missed Rank1. Gareth performed as I expected, and didnt expect to like his set too much. To me the sound is washed up, it came fast and should leave just as fast. I might be old-fashioned, but to me electro has no place in trance music. Sorry, not my cup of tea, the set had zero direction, or maybe I didnt pay much attention, and was waiting for a long time for him to move out of the way for Menno.

I knew I would enjoy Menno's set for what it was worth. I actually expected for him to play softer, but boy was I pleasantly surprised when he kept fluffy sound to the minimum. Just right. And perfect direction. I have not heard many sets by Menno in the past, and the ones I did were pretty good, but since last night my respect for him as a DJ really grew. He is no longer a new kid with little experience, he graduated last night to a new level - at least in my opinion. In this genre of trance , I cannot think of anyone I would like to come out and see with more pleasure. Cover charge was cheap too. Great night. I left after he finished, and did not care to stay for the chick, and not sure how she did.

i've waited since jan 25th to see menno again and i almost missed it for a wedding reception in woodbridge. but by some act of fate, my girlfriend was sick and we had to leave the party early so i did make it to guv by 12:30.

coming from the frame of mind that i'd be missing it, that main room trance tasted like the verboten candy i'd been craving. what i caught of rank 1 sounded fantastic and I enjoyed all of gareth's tracks.. but menno shook the floor with a massive tech-trance ride that completed my night.

as soon as goat cheese woman trainwrecked i bailed to the acid lounge and caught the end of andrew's excellent extended set.
