Ahh even HUTCH beat me to this.. fuck I'm slow.
After thinking about this event for the last week I believe I can finally put my emotions into words.
I got to footwork t 8:45.. because of traffic and random stupidity I was stressed out of my mind. In that 15 minutes before the door opened we all pulled together and decorated our asses off. I'm really proud of the YM ladies and everyone who helped btw. Nice job 
9pm hits and Zeina comes on. I hear the medhat spin at least once a week so I was really excited for her. It being her debut at footwork, only her 3rd time spinning in a club and the fact that I adore her made it so much more amazing. I know her set wasn't up to par for her but I'm proud of her and it was the perfect warm up set .. congratssss zeinaaaa 
The next memorable set for me was Paco. The man blew me away. I really didnt know what to expect but wow. Definitely a great choice Ace. I didn't get to catch much of Cam, but I what I did hear was great and I really don't remember Lee's set because I was running around so much [sorry guys!]
Roaches and YM.. wow. I never have anything bad to say about those boys. Seeing Nathan behind the decks always makes my heart skip and YM ladies owned those speakers.<3
The vibe in footwork blew my mind every time I looked around. Ace, Milena, everyone involved.. this event is amazing. I'm so proud of you. Words cannot describe how excited, happy, amazed and just damn proud I am of D2DB and everything it accomplishes. Ace when you told me that you got to the donation point my heart leaped. I wish I could have done more for the event.. I fell short this year but I know D2DB was still successful and that itself makes me smile.
Overall: D2DB5 was an amazing event for a great cause with amazing friends and music.
