i will tell you a story about promoters and how one annoyed me and i would prefer not to go to their parties anymore.
i was excited for a certain person to finally be playing in toronto at an interesting venue. i posted the information since i figured that coming from me, more people would believe it was a good party and that everyone should go. the stupid promoter actually PMed me like 2 weeks later and asked me to remove the posting so they could post theirs. but this person was not a active member of TA and i am sure that it's better if someone that people actually know posts the message. i didn't delete mine. it had all the information and extra excitement about the event, but i was offended that the promoter actually asked. i am doing you a favor! accept it!
there are promoters on here that are actually active members and i wouldn't want to interfer with their work, but a one off poster should be thankful that i would like to promoter their stuff not give me attitude.
