I don't see how a historical failure of multiple domestic currencies could ever be successful. Our economy needs a standardized system of money.

I have no problem with an alternative currency, and there are already plenty. But there should one standard currency which no business can refuse. If I am being paid in dollars, but my grocery store refuses to take them, I can't buy food can I?
