the Cue system.. how does it work? I know that if you push channel 1&2 simultanesly you listen to them two in the headphones.

But i never do that with my djm800, instead i (for example), want to listen one channel, and the master in the headphones.. Does the 'Add mix' knob allow me to do that? Switching between master and headphones (channel)cueing?
Does it work like the mixing knob (above the level knob) on the djm800?

if you cue a channel then you will hear that playing in your headphones.

if your channel 1 is playing then it is playing a lower volume on your headphones than it would be if you cued it.

I have my monitor knob set all the way to cue and not 'add mix'.

if channel 1 is playing and you cue channel 2 then you will hear channel 2

Just got the Evo in the mail. I can see what Clovis means about the cheap knobs. The EQs are good...pretty sturdy, the effects/midi row knobs are pretty cheap feeling....but they are free spinning and clickable so I'll let it slide. The other buttons and sliders are butter. Time to play, woot!

those knobs have little extra "wiggle room" because they will be the most abused knobs on the mixer...being slammed, spun and pushed aggressively, so dont worry about it

Enjoy the EVO4! Youre gonna love it!

After using it I have no complaints about any of the knobs. The effect knobs that I thought seemed "cheap" felt fine and can understand why they made them that way. I actually like the way they feel since they are meant to be used differently than the eqs. Love this thing
