Yeah I figured, all I could afford for now was a midi controller though so I gotta deal. I just hate how the eqs seem to scoop so much.

id love to see them use tapedecks. vinyl is dead and so is software. with tapedecks you can put whatever u like on them, and u can say prepare two or three tracks before your night and then u can have more time ruin the mixers unused channels or walking around interacting with the crowd.

when i go anywhere i am there to listen to the music, not sit there and watch how the dj is mixing it. i could care less if he was banging around 20 trashcans if it sounded good then who cares where the music is coming from.
embrace technology. its only going to get more advanced

Apparently there's some hate for Ableton producers as well:
people seem to like the idea of a dj more than they do the actual dj itself
remember when we were having this same discussion about CDJ's a few years back? welp, same thing

Nothing wrong with Ableton DJs as long as they play good tracks. Who the fuck stares at a DJ the whole gig anyhow? If I wanted to do that I'd just sit at home watching YouTube clips all day and save myself the energy.

What energy would you save because you'd be fapping a lot.

At least it'd be fapping to pron as opposed to fapping to a man spinning vinyl.

thats a pretty ignorant, idiotic statement considering serato is a DVS and ableton is designed to perform live electronic music (crazy I know, its not all about the 1 fucking dj you saw who was using ableton).

yep - i find it amusing that kids these days are saying things like "id rather stick to good old cdj's than cheat with abletronz...
like 4 years ago it was the same except - "id rather stick with good old vinyl than cheat with cdj's....
its retarded and i find most of the complainers are the ones who cant be bothered or are too stupid or stubborn to learn how to use abletr0nz..
its the sound that comes outta the speakers - nothing else
