The image he posted looks exactly like the result you get when you throw a loop in a slicer. Lol. bongos_5 is probably a renamed loop.

I'm not being dickly, but i find the likelyhood of you making that yourself about as viable as vanilla cocoa.

Edit: slicer

Well, if he used some VEC one-shots to make his loops, and those one-shots were also used in the VEC loop, then I guess it wouldn't be hard to get something very similar.

Yeah, it's not hard to program something similar, yet also pretty obviously different, as a fairly standard conga pattern, especially when you're using Stylus RMX, Vengeance one-shots, edit groups, etc.. The original loops that I started with may have even been based on Vengeance, but I'm not intimately familiar with the Vengeance loops, so I really don't know, nor do I care. I tweaked the Stylus loops to fit my song.

But, here, if it will make you guys happy and get you off my back, go listen to song #13 (Seduction) on my website and you will hear 2 or 3 canned percussion and effects loops throughout the song, which IIRC, are all from Vengeance. There are also definitely some loops (hihats/shakers) from the Nexus Drums Expansion. Does that make you happy?

Like I said, it doesn't bug me if people use loops at all. It just annoys me if they use them and then deny it, and at first I thought that's what you were doing.

+1

Also, ignore me. I forgot the fact that I don't give a shit wether someone used loops or not.

Yeah those doesnt sound the same at all.

And posting a screenshot, what a proof!

You post a 2 bar sample of each percussion hit pattern playing, so they can be added together and form the final loop.. then i will believe you.

To your defense though, it is possible some dude used Stylus RMX same loop as you, and then Vengeance sampled from this guy.

Do I need to post a screen shot of my drums or clip of my drum patterns to prove what an idiot you are, or would you prefer to just admit that you're wrong?

Wait I love this:

No offesne

what an idiot you are.

Good show, laughed my ass off.

Got to admit Cryophonik, you're outburst in this thread has been pretty stupid. Subtle didn't "accuse" you of anything. How is saying you use d a loop an "accusation". Some people use loops, others never do, some use both. If it works in the end it works.

I never use vengeance loops as they never sit right in my mixes.

However I do have Stylus RMX and use that a lot along with one shots.

I suspect that you used the same conga/bongo loop from RMX that the person who made that vengeance loop used. I may have even used that conga loop myself at some point.

Why you got so fired up I have no idea, especially when you do use loops anyway..you use RMX loops (along with one shots)

Yeah, you're absolutely right. What got me fired up had a lot less to do with this and much more to do with the tremendous amount of stress I'm dealing with at work these days and I totally took out my frustration on Subtle. Actually, I think I took out my frustrations on a few people this week. What makes it even more stupid is that I've been on this forum for years and have always thought of Subtle as one of the good guys. So, I apologize to Subtle and anyone else whom I've offended.

I'll get back to being my normal cheerful and helpful (I think) self now. My wife will probably strangle me in my sleep if I don't.
