I was excited and happy to be a part of the World Vibe production team. I spent hundreds of hours in planning, design, development, and promotion of the event. I was just as stunned as everyone when I learned on Friday the week before the event that there was talk about pulling the plug. A mixture of issues are to blame - and I felt strongly that we should have trudged on "rain or shine" - but at the end of the day it wasn't my decision.
I hope all of you that purchased tickets receive your money back. I know that both the ticket vendors I use HOLD my ticket sales money until after the event just in case such a thing happens.. so I'm sure everyone will be reimbursed. I apologize to those that followed my directions and made plans to attend these events.. Trust me when I say I am VERY sad that I was unable to go thru with the Juicy Beach @ Typhoon Lagoon - as that was my baby.
My entire staff went unpaid for this event - as well as many other planners and promoters that were involved. For those of you that were totally screwed please send me a private message and I will do what I can to make up for it
