I might attend this. His show last year was packed, yet he didn't start until after 1:00am, I believe? At least the Wednesday performance might thin the crowd slightly, and I work from home on Thursdays, which makes a late night out slightly less awkward. On the other hand, I'd hate to see a diminished turnout on a Wednesday hurt the momentum we've had this year in attracting the best trance DJs.

The first time I saw PVD was in 2008, he started the set with Souls in Motion-Rapid Eye movement and then, right after, he dropped SVD-Riff,.... the place went nuts!! In the middle of the set he dropped Kay. D Smith & Marc Tall, Praiseworthy Tunes!! What a night, he played from 3:30am to 7:00am!

I've heard PvD play Riff and Grasshopper before in the same set.

yeah he prolly does..just the last 2 times i saw him in charlotte he was playing full blown bpm trance ala sean tyas, activa, tom colontonio and such. His set was high energy epic trance. Im more drawn to techy styles of trance like van doorn, sied van riel, re-ward, schossow and such. I just dont remember anything even associated with a lower bpm gritty tech trance coming out of him last time. Only odd thing i heard that wasnt a full on trancer was as the rush comes. He dropped that out of nowhere.
