I think it was really due to the late discovery by bigger jocks of 'Strung Out'. I doubt the track sold that well at release date, then suddenly BOOM about a year later it's one of the more popular tracks to here in a set.

He's a great producer, I wish I only came upon him earlier (I'm sure quite a few people are saying that).
