Great track after great track here...and overall very poised set in direction and progression, great opener for whoever that followed.

Thanks for the comments, Kismet, Lee Burridge followed and he played a great set as well.

Unfortunately he played on a different mixer otherwise I would have recorded him too.

Going to give this a whirl tomorrow.. Looking forward to it

Some great shots from Avalon as well, looked like you had a really good night. Love the look of the club.

Question though, what did you use to record your mix?

Thumbs up

I've been re-listening to this the past couple days, and man what a set!

I enjoyed many of the tunes in here, I would say this is perfect for a warm up , you never seem to go crazy on banging it in order to impress the crowd which is a good quality for a warm up dj .

Something that i really like about your sets is the diversity of sounds and the timing you have in them.I agree with you sometimes warm up sets have to be a bit boring in order to make the stand out moments have more value.

I understand that this is the first time you've used Traktor @ a gig and maybe the only thing i would work on is where to place the loops so it doesn't sound too loopy like on the transition between "love in transvestite" and " when love feels like crying " around 8min 49 secs, maybe if you would have streched the lopp to a 16 bar might have sounded better. or on minute 15 the same thing.

I like how you brought it up a notch on minute 30 , that intro with dead souls which is an amazing track though was a bit forced to put it in there but then the next track( I'll set your house ) fixed the moment.

The highlight of your set to is from 50min till 1h an 14m those got to be the best fuckin 24 minutes I've heard all of july.

Way to go bud ,I bet Lee must have been happy to be up next

Hope you keep delivering more sets like this one

Yeah, def was trying to find a nice outro loop from "when love feels like crying" as the two tracks are slightly out of key, so I didnt want the melodies stepping on each other.

It also gets a bit easy to go overboard on the looping but I think I got better at keeping the flow later on in the mix.

Thanks for the review. I'll try and record my next standard opening, plan on playing some really weird stuff
