The problem with this is that as you can see, your shadow gets out of proportion since the wall is far away from where you walked. Notice how the wall in the MJ video is even further away and no such disproportion occurs. Which leads me to believe that the shadow is cast by someone walking in front of the camera rather than behind it. But of course, I'm not an expert and it could be the unique conditions in that hallway that cause the shadow to appear in proportion.

CNN responds, saying it's the shadow of a person walking in front of a lighting fixture:



If you look at around 2:42, they zoom in the video pretty far and you can clearly see the shadow being distorted as it moves across -- just like a normal shadow.

just look at the floor, it's got a shadow-like reflection

Yeah, that pretty much solves it. Since that one shows the take in much higher quality you can actually see that the shadow is indeed distorted and considerably larger than a person. I guess you were right dude, it is someone walking behind the camera rather than in the other room, in front.
