The radio is just playing all of his hits, fortunately for anyone who wants to look a little deeper MJ's discography is pretty large...

He already stated one of them: that it's ASOT.
I mean, it's not like the show's called A State Of Michael Jackson.
He can play whatever he wants. One non trance track isn't going to ruin what his fans already think of them, whatever that may be.
In all honesty it would've been pretty damn cool if he did just a drop an original Michael Jackson track.
I get why he played the Jerome remix but I personally think it would be more exciting to hear something you wouldn't except when you least expect it. Thats part of the fun of DJing to begin with, knowing when to surprise people.

Yeah, but if he would have played an original people would says "Why didn't he play a remix?" and when he played a remix other people wanna hear an original....
It's his show, he can play what he wants, although even that might be not true...
The ASOT radio classic can be a surprise sometimes, like BT-Godspeed or Members of Mayday - 10IN01 (Paul van Dyk Club mix) : Asot Classic Requests

What about a heavy metal, jumpstyle or gabber remix then?
Would be easier to say what you consider a tribute, Dolly Parton singing Smooth Criminal?
I don't see how the genre would make any kind of a difference.

wow. surprises!!! you must have a really narrow field of music vision if you call those surprises since it's still fits in the same category of music i.e. melodic trance.

If you wanna listen to original than just log on to regular radio and if you wanna hear a trance remix than log on to a state of trance radio.. seriously its not that hard to get it right..
