Rave culture really has nothing redeeming that should be passed down onto the youth. imo

Why is there so much hate against Raves?

You guys must not have been to a good one if ya'll don't appreciate it.

Raves are EDM imo. Energy, friendly people, killer music. Great times.

So what if 1/2 the people there are rolling balls and rubbing your hair. They're fucking tranced the fuck out. Let them experience the moment.

Pretty sure the house music/techno scene had little to do with candy ravers.

The DC/ Baltimore house music/ techno scene had everything to do with ravers in the mid-90's. Not so much candy ravers - but definitely ravers. I didn't really see many candy kids until moving to the ATL. Up north it was mosltly big pants, hoodies, baggy shirts (Polo, Hillfiger, or Nautica) and ball caps.
