Owsey - you are right on every point you make. Yes vsts can make good sounds, but there is still such a huge difference from the sound quality of more well known pros I suppose like Armada. If you wear a pair of headphones listening to Armada, then you wear a pair of headphones off tranceaddict to a "well produced" trance track, pro or w/e you would call it, you can actually hear the difference by way the woofer in the headphone tickles you ear.
The bass just sounds louder, wraps around the kick like a puzzle piece, and sounds so deep and rich. It has something to do with the level of the bass I think, they bring it up so high w/out distorting anything that it the entire bass sounds deeper and fuller.
This is so hard to fuckn explain gzz..

I know what you mean, however, what you just said is a result of practice. Those guys probably have years of expierience behind them, so it's no wonder they generally "sound better".
Then again, if you compare Armada artists to Tranceaddict artists, there's quite a big difference. Sure, Armada may have overall higher quality, but a lot of their music is generic and I believe that some TA artists have a lot more creativity in their work.
Anyway, my point was that the VST's aren't going to magically change. Professionals have many years behind them, which you might not, so generally they're going to know how to tweak things properly.
