You know, I'm actually sort of interested. A bit. I've gone from a 0% chance of buying to maybe 10%.

Well, at least this thread introduced me to Metric. That's the best a Tiesto album or mix has provided me since ISOS 2.
Haha, tight. Check out Broken Social Scene if you're into Metric. They're a bit more experimental, and Emily Haines certainly isn't the vocalist on most of their stuff, only some. Broken Social Scene is a folk band that swaps out members regularly and some make re-appearances. There's 2 core members I believe. They're kind of like the experimental neo-folk/psychadelic rock group Jackie-O Motherfucker.

I have been following Tiesto since 99. I was immediately enthralled by what I still regard the best electronic CD ever compiled, Magik VI Live in Amsterdam. This CD is loaded with uplifting, energetic, blood moving tracks intricately mixed with angelic perfection. From that moment on, I could feel the magik flowing through my veins while listening to the music that Tijs carefully samples and produces. His creativity allows him to develop the concepts of songs that bring life and energy to people around the world.

I actually quite liked Just Be. I also thought Parade of the athletes had some great tracks on to. I can't see this being any good.
Did he ever release an album with some of his collaborations? Gouryella, Kamaya painters etc...

The old collabs got released digitally in a bundle when BH went digital, but i'm not sure there is any such compilation of these oldies legitimately thrown together by BH in one CD.

Thanks. I think I have heard some of their tracks before since the band name does ring a bell. Shame I can't stream Youtube vids here, but I will have a listen once I get home.
