fuck man, this mix is so... pleasant (for lack of a better word). you track selection is absolutely fantastic. really chill. very loungy feel at the beginning, progresses somewhat into "rougher" stuff but not too much. the end was a nice round-up, going back to the style @ the beginning.

i think it's been mentioned, some of your mixing is a bit hectic. i think that's due to the whole mouse/keyboard thing. once you get a nice controller you'll be able to smooth it out. it wasn't terrible by any means, but definitely noticed it in a couple of areas.

it was a good change of pace from all the really techy shit i've been enjoying lately and really gets me in the mood for fall and deep melodic haus!

cheers, brethen.

And I think the track at the 62 minute mark is the one on Aenaria by Waltek and Tony Maione (not sure though, as it's the following one at 62m20s. But yea that is a great track, and Waltek actually has a new track out on Aenaria called Ottica Deep (Main Mix) which is absolutely great.

Why thank you for the feedback kind sir.

I'm glad you were feeling the music and the way that it progressed. My intention was to put together lots of really melodic tracks that I really like and I think it came off quite nicely overall.

After quite a large number of listens I do agree that some of the mixing was a little off. Good examples I guess is 12 to 13, 13 to 14 (gain too high on 14), 15 to 16 (low freq too high on 16), and 18 to 19 (I just didn't think these two interacted well). I know that's a lot of mistakes to admit but I think they're ones I'll avoid making in the future

I really liked this. I think you found a good balance between more driving, uptempo beats and rhythms, while keeping a spacey and lush atmosphere. Very nice to listen to.

Back from the dead!

Thanks for checking it out dude, I'm glad that it did its thing.

p.s. next mix is going to be super duper deep and I'll make sure to get all the mixing right this time:P I've got some really awesome and obscure stuff sitting in the BP crate right now...can't wait to mix it up.

It's not often I come back and search the original topic out to come back and comment but I had to for this one..... nothing new to say really that hasn't already been said, but just one more person who really enjoyed this. Such good vibe you have going on. I finally got around to listening to the whole thing tonight and it immediately went from my large folder of mixes to the keepers folder.
