This is a nice & enjoyable set! Good selection of tunes in here, except I'd have like a bit more energy interspersed (sp?) throughout the mix. I liked the last part of the set the best with the "harder-tinged psytrance", but to each his/her own.

I thought your mixing was okay. I know it's a bit more difficult to pull of a great transition with GOA/PSY style tracks than your 'typical' trance, and I think you've done a good job here. It's especially difficult mixing in 12 year old tracks with current ones, so they sound a bit out of place, or time? Some early Astral Projection would work beautifully with the Miranda tracks IMO.

I'll be completely honest here. I've listened to this about three times, and haven't really got past the 80 minute mark. I really like most of the first hour - that OOOOD track is banging, and the chords in the Origin track remind me of The Orb's remix of Satellite Serenades - but when it starts heading into the psytrance territory my attention just drifts. It doesn't captivate me.

I'm not sure if it's just slack flow in the midsection - because you are in no hurry to mix most of these tracks, and so it stretches out and loses focus - or just because I'm not a huge psytrance fan and I didn't like these particular examples. Either way, I'm sorry to say this set doesn't grab me like Mad Monkey Mix.

just downloaded this and listening, this sounds pretty good actually. a really good representation of 'trance trance' just like the title suggests.

listening on, i cant help but reminess on the old oakenfold essential mixes from '97! loving them acid goa sounds, i am however a bit hungover but this is perfect for them sunday drinking blues lol its not too 'full on and in your face' (i was half expecting it to be when hard trance was listed)

this will be on my ipod come tomorrow morning!
