My girlfriend and I always purposely misname these dime a dozen bands when they come on the radio.

All the same shit...boring, uninspired shit.
I fell for the hype when the new Kings of Leon album dropped. Tried to get into them for about a week after hearing Sex is on Fire (that song is win), but it was no use. All they're tracks are exactly the same (excluding Sex is on Fire, of course).
And I think Coldplay started off as an amazing band. "Parachutes" still gets the replay every now and then. Everything after that though has been mediocre, but still enjoyable.

And on that note, "Anthem Rock" has gotten tiring as a whole. I've explored more into the Space/Experimental/Indie rock groups and they've been much more enjoyable.

Has anybody here actually heard anything other than their new album? It seems that is usually the case when it becomes popular to hate a band for being too played out. Some of the comparisons here really have me scratching my head. If anything, I've always thought they sound most like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club or The Black Angels.
