Swirl 2005 is an event I would never forget. So good music and vibe ...

Ferry @ Aria in October 2005 ... epic moment. Probably the best afterhour event I've been to.

Also Bal en Blanc 2007 with Above & Beyond.

These are the nights I know I will never forget.

Watching Nirvana live would be better than any EDM night in the history of time. You lucky SOB's to whoever had the pleasure to see Nirvana.

i can name you a lot of electronic acts that were better than nirvana. Never forget that nirvana was the tiesto of "grunge".

Lawler Lights Out 1 tour @ Aria was so Epic... Best night hands down for me. Never heard another set that had such a strong impact on me.

I also enjoyed Celebration 1999 and 2004 (if I am not mistaking).

Sundance with Lawler and tenaglia was pretty awesome.

And of course all my RM events for different reasons.

soundgarden was never the most popular band. (aka the tiesto reference)

nirvana was the BIGGEST band, but they were not the best imo

on an unrelated note, i saw eddie vedder "un plugged" (by himself with no back up) this year at place des arts, and we left after the 4th song.

man, trying to be a real musician must really suck if you are not good at it

The weekend of April 15 2005 at aria both nights were recorded if I remember.
Friday April 15th - ferry corsten - was better in April than the following October that same year imo.
Saturday April 16th. - sasha & Steve porter
Both were amazing

Yup above and beyond were soo amazing that night!! I didn't expect them to rock the house to that extent. Sadly they were garbage this year

yeah even though nirvana was popular, they could back it up more than lets say kings of leon, or even metallica. (who sucked harder than kings of leon if you can believe it, even with their expensive set up and flashy fireworks...time to retire)

marylin manson was actually good last night, even if i don't dig the music really, and he is getting really too fat to wear spandex. great show man though, puts the jesus pose to shame imo.

a little bit of my review:

no, but there was tons of nazi innuendo.

he brings out 2 flags.

holds up the us flag = cue large boo

holds up canadian flag = bigger boo

*he doesn't understand the politics of quebec, we generally hate canada*

he starts to act bewildered like his pre planned cheap "pop" gimmick is lost.

fans start to chant "quebec! quebec! quebec!"

he screams "wtf is a quebec, i cant piss on a flag that i dont have."

*bursts into song*

i was dying.
