I don't whether you'r being serious or sarcastic. If we send astronauts on a prolonged trip to the moon, as we would do before going to Mars, then they need some way of creating their own water wherever they are. Space agencies need to know the nature of the water on the moon so that these future astronauts can make synthetic water from the pre-existing water at their location.
