hey, I like Macs and I've been using one myself but it's just bullshit that you would need an Apple computer to seriously make music. Programs like Ableton work the same on both platforms and you can just as well make great music on a Windows computer. There are other pros and cons to the platforms but being able to make professional music is not on any one side of the lists.

I like their desktop but god damn does every single other product and person suck balls.

Ok i forgive you for calling me a retard. I personal advise producers to forget about fsb speeds.... if you thinking about that you have lost sight of what really matters....music. 99% of producers get hung up on the speed of this and the speed of that....upgrading...getting ever synth under the sun and that is what is going to get them a record deal....NO. Its what comes out the speakers....in my opinion some of the best music was wrote on ataris. So any young producers reading this forget about fsb speed.... there is no magic button or daw or synth it is 10years of thinking breathing listening producing and dreaming about music....thats what it takes.

price, size, look, overkill, cables, power, noise, smell, heat, everything i hate with a desktop. like the new quadcore imac alot more. music isnt really that demanding and u dont need 32GB RAM and 8*3GHz Quadcores, 2TB HD to make it. up to anyone though but id use my money for something else.
