Even Markus two years ago at ETD Pop was significantly different than what he plays now. I still love to see him and he's in my top 3 favorite DJ's but I haven't heard a set like that since...

I just finished watching the videos online from this event. One way to describe it: OMFG. All the tracks were awesome, especially the W&W-DNA tune that is in the promo video. It was incredible. I'd easily pay 200 bucks to have this happen in LA. Both of these DJs are in my top 5 and seeing them in the same night would be incredible. I can't wait to see Markus on Thursday

I would have to say despite my taste for music evolving over the last year or two, I'd still love to see armin vs markus special event.

Having said that, Rich is right that Markus changed his sound to a more trancey/commercial style.

I still love both artists and bought Toronto '09 and thought it was pretty good but not as good as the old days.

Nothing compares to 2003-2006 Markus and maybe nothing ever will. Have to agree with Rich again.

All time fave GDJB was the following back when we all used to hang with Markus during his Miami Party 93.1 Sunday night shows at #gdjb with davet, tigerclaw, arturob, chrisluzz, uwm, and so many others I can't remember - before he got picked up by Armin and blew up of course.

Thank you so much for this. This is the sound I used to love and aimed towards making.

Feels so great to listen to this again. I miss the old Markus. These days I can barely tell the difference between him and Armin which is a shame in my opinion.

i like this one because it was recorded live at godskitchen and you can hear the crowd go balls when carrier drops. it literally sounds like people are getting raped lol. one of my top tracks of 05, i still get chills listening to it. i remember when it premiered on gdjb in may, i went straight to mezzanine the next month just to hear markus play it...
