I'm really considering getting this synth looks awsome, at the moment I use sylenth for most of my bass needs and I'm getting bored with it tbh, reckon it's worth the money considering I don't think I'll use the acoustic sounds? just probly use the synth basses

TBH, if you don't plan on using the sampled basses, you might prefer Rob Papen's SubBoomBass - it's much cheaper ($119) and doesn't require all that HD space.

hmm i was considering this a while back but after playin with the demo i didnt think it sounded any better than the bass sounds in sylenth so i didnt bother, theres something about this trillian thats making my head say " go on you know you want it" plus i suppose having the option of at least giving sampled basses ago to could prove usefull since ive only ever used synths for bass up untill now. the money doesnt bother to much i think i just need convincing lol

OK - I hope I didn't sound like I was trying to talk you out of Trilian! It's a very cool and nicely implemented instrument (as are all the Spectrasonics instruments IMO) and well worth the money.

Not much better than Sylenth eh? Ive messed with Sylenth and I dont see how it could make some of the basses in that spectrasonics demo vid - maybe i missed a trick with it, also i wasnt aware of a demo

So i was browsing around on a certain forum where they like their hardware, found a few recommendations of hardware synths for bass on a certain forum, one of them was the Roland SH-09 link
the tone of the bass in that part sounds so thick, id love to able to get sounds like that
BUT that thing doesnt even have midi for ffs, there are others with midi but id rather not have to deal with all the hassle that comes with external synths

sooo thats where im hoping Trilian will come in, am i barking up the wrong tree or what?
sorry for the ramblings
