I'm always surprised when they won't allow atleast one more song, but the reality is that once the bar closes there's no more money coming in and every minute they're losing on security costs. Lame I know, but unfortunately it's the way things are..
Glad to hear Zack and Fedde rocked though! |
This is what most likely happened. It isn't the first event that closed sooner than expected. I have seen A&B more than a few times. That isn't how they would close out their set. If you take into consideration that their set started a half hour late and they were supposed to be on for a three hour set, we missed at least a half hour of what they planned. It looked to me like it was more of Roseland and/or Made shutting it down.

It's good that the party ended early. They might have been forced to end the party after that girl had the seizure/OD & put us all on lockdown like the Love incident. |
This. I saw a few EMTs in and out of there the whole time. Depending on the reason for the other calls, that girl would have put a big wrench in it. I hope she's ok though.
We had a great night. Zack was fucking great and Fedde killed it. People had high expectations of A&B because of how great the music was before they went on. About the 21+, it isn't going to happen. They would not have been capable of pulling a full venue on 21+, based on seeing how many 18-20 yo there were. I also think the people you chill with are a big factor of a good night, that's why I make sure there are always super awesome people around me that want to have a good time.
