Nothing hugely intensive, save for working with multiple rather large (700MB+) photoshop files for printing. I'm not a gamer anymore, so it's unlikely it would be used for that.

I just wanted something fairly decent so it'll last for quite a while before I need a new one. My current Pentium D is about 3 years old now, I think.

Then yeah, the i5 sounds like it will be perfect for you. Not too much, cost wise, with a lot of power that will work for a while
