so, a group of ravers got to chill around the generator, that had 110 sockets ready to be used, which caused the not fully filled generator to blow a fuse then run out of juice...

LMFAO!!!!! Nobody was charging anything, all I could see all around me was a couple of thousand guys and girls DANCING THEIR ASSES OFF!!!

Whatever it was, it ruined the party big-time, and theres no "official" word over here with a BELIEVE-ABLE reason, which leaves me to think it was pre-meditated, to get the crowd out early (say, a 4AM off cutoff?)

I really want to know because not only is this disrespectful to the crowd (at least people who give a fuck like I do) but also to the Djs, Myon and Shane54 were doing preety good and probably working up to their climax and then "boom" everything goes dark. NO EXPLANATIONS.

I agree w/ the other peeps over here, Andy Moor & Duderstadt tore it up!

I have a feeling we're not going to get a real answer and that's the end of our support for Fresh entertainment.

Heck, hope you guys learn, enough of this type of stuff and you'll go clubbing instead. I was done with shady promotion years ago, should have came to Circus.

everything has its pros and cons. i actually like an outdoor party once in a while. The crowd was great and the vibe was great overall, just crappy that it ended @ 3:20AM..... Tickets were $60, by the way. Several thousand people showed up. Mostly 17~22 crowd

Geeeeez... Lil harsh I'd say. I mean I've been to some real shitty events over the years but I never tell the people that throw it go f*#k themselves.

Chances are the reason they played that track is because they remixed it. Doubtful they played the original or another mix.

I would like to extend my personal apologies about the Generator issues we had at WinterFresh. The Generator started to Sputter out causing the sound and lights to go on and off before it quit completely and started smoking out the vents.

The failure was not caused by lack of Fuel and Definitely had NOTHING to do with anyone plugging in their cell phones.( that's just silly ) Sometimes things just happen that you cannot control.

There was a backup generator on site but it would have taken about 15 mins to pull over and plug in and get running. Suffice it to say there just wasn't enough time to make this happen and by 3:45am most of the crowd was already cleared out of the arena to hear music on other stages. If the Failure had not happened so late in the night then the music would have been off for 20 minutes and then back up for the rest of the night. Even still if it had happened this way I'm sure you would ll be upset because 20 minutes of Duderstadt's or Andy Moors set had been interrupted. We are not perfect nor do we claim to be. We only claim to care about putting on high quality events where people can have the time of their lives.

The truth is that after extraordinary set from Andy Moor & Duderstadt, Myon & Shane54 played awesome for over and hour and when they were offered the chance to finish their set on another stage, they declined. We will be having them back next year though as they had a great time and said want to play for us again.

To anyone who thinks we shut the event down early this is just not true. Originally the plan was to end the other stages @ 3:45am and have everyone come together on the main stage for the close of the show ( This was outlined on the Timeslots we handed out at the entrance.) but to make up for the 30 minute loss on the main stage we kept the other stages going till 4am.

There would honestly have been NO reason for us to close the stage early and it makes no sense that we would risk pissing anyone off by doing so. There was no issue of controlling the crowd either. What happened happened and all we can do is tell the truth and hope that the overall production showed everyone the kind of quality we @ Fresh AIM to provide. It should be obvious that we do not cut corners and go all out on everything across the board. So why would we do all that and then purposely close the main stage 30 minutes early? The answer is, We would not!

Its not like we are the first company to have issues like this as the main stage @ EDC this year was without a DJ or music for an hour and a half. Things just happen.

I personally find it a bit ridiculous that anyone would let the final 30 minutes of the night completely ruin the event for them. I say this of course after I myself was nearly in tears over the issue until I walked twords the 2nd stage and everyone I came into contact with told me how amazing the event was and not to worry about what happened because everything had gone so perfectly all night that it just wouldn't matter.

The positive response to the show has been overwhelming and this is honestly the only place Ive seen where there is so much negativity or conspiracy theory.

And I so very much appreciate the wonderful FUCK YOU from someone these forums because that is exactly what our culture needs ... More negativity.

Much Love & Respect

-Fresh1

This is exactly what I mean. It is Crappy that it ended @ 3:30am. I'm not happy about it either. ( shit I worked for months on something just to have my perfect ending be spoiled by someones equipment failure ) THAT SUCKS !! But there is nothing that me or anyone else could have done about it so we all might as well concentrate on the positive's.

It was a great party with great production, great vibes and great DJ sets.

Lets not let the last 30 mins ruin our image of what would have been a near perfect night.
