What are you talking about, woman, higher education here is free!

Well... you do need to learn Portuguese, take an entrance test, and only the best universities are public (i.e. free). You can always get a job teaching English to pay your bills and you're all set

I'm quite sure the paperwork is probably the worst part. If you're really interested, look for exchange programmes between our universities (if there are any) and/or ask for information at the Brazilian consulate in Toronto (that's where you used to live, right?).

The foreigners I know from university don't really have to pay for their education here, as far as I know.
