nope there were 3 responses

one guy said it was sick
some guy said the mixed was muddy
and you said you could do better which you obviously can't million

the point is that it is a style of music i did years ago and it still is a times better than your shit. As far as the classical stuff being boring ? , i think your Neanderthal brain doesn't have the ability to grasp it. I don't think you would even know where to start.

The bottom line is that I make a living doing music where as you only wish you did. End of story.

I "grasp" your gay disney music it sounds like this: di di di da da do di di DOM .... DOM..... DOM... di di da di da, it sounds like if you took a voilin and a drum and threw it in a blender, ate it, then shit it out.
I grasp it.
Your trance is nothing unique at all. I've heard it about 1 hundred million times over in the promotion section. I'm not trying to harm your frail ego, but get a fuckn reality check about your own tunes brotha.

No, we don't market. We just work on music together and, when we see an opportunity to possibly collaborate with other producers who are looking for vocalists, we offer to collab for free. They are usually novices/hobbyists, but some are pretty advanced (semi-pros - guys that have been signed, but have day jobs, etc.).

And, to be clear, we have never failed - it's the other producers who fail by not following through. It's usually exactly the people who you say that you are targeting who fail to deliver. The more advanced guys are the only ones that have ever followed through. Eric J is a perfect example - he and his collaborator recently released a track feature Avonlea Montague, one of the singers that I work with, where they wrote the music, I wrote the melody, Avonlea wrote the lyrics and sang it, and we recorded the vox in my studio. Everything went well because everybody (1) did their part and (2) had the experience and knowledge to make it happen.

To add to that and the singing in the correct key point:

When we originally sent the framework track, Cryo suggested that we drop the key of the track down a bit in order to better fit the singers range. As he said, it was much easier for us to do this than to force her to sing in a register then she might not excel at. So we dropped the track down a bit, sent it back and she gave us a beautiful vocal in return.

In an interesting twist, we actually ended up rewriting the track based on the finalized vocal she sent back and it totally added a new dimension to the vocals. The original track she recorded to was 134 BPM trance, very much in an Anjuna style. When we rewrote the track, we gave it a much more Progressive House vibe and it completely changed the tone of her vocal from a typical trance type vocal to a dark, sultry type thing, even though the original vocal was recorded over a trance track. The two versions couldn't be more different, but it worked. Both versions were great, but we could only release one, so we chose to release the Progressive House version. We felt it was better suited to the vocals she sent back and the track has had some great success on the label and it is getting lots of plays.

Its always a bit easier to structure your music to suit the vocalist, rather than the other way around. There needs to be a bit of back and forth because the really great vocal tracks are usually not just a one shot deal. Sometimes it takes a complete rewrite to hit the right "note" so to speak. It's a perfect example of what good can come of a great collaboration.

Fair play man.. his trancey song wasnt that amazing but the movie score was pretty cool and you know it.. Just admit that he owned you and move on, it's not that hard, maybe you can learn from the situation.

OK, for some reason I have read this entire thread. RichieV, I have to say you are coming off as a little arrogant here. Robbie had an idea, and was pretty humble about the way he submitted it and asked for advice. I'm not sure why you seem to be ripping into him like this.

And so what if you make music for a living? Loads of people do, it doesn't mean you have to belittle people who don't.

I think you have to of been around the dozen or so Robby Rox threads to understand the hostile reactions he gets. I'm not arrogant. I'm actually quite humble around the right people but Robby is a hack and it is actually insulting for people like him that have nothing invested in music telling others that have spent 26 years working their asses off and getting results that they don't know what they are doing. He has nothing to show except threads asking how to do this and that which we all answer and it gets real annoying. He is a black-whole of information that never contributes a single thing except humour at his expense.

And it was Robby who started the penis measuring contest and sue me if I am extremely confident as to my size.

Avatar One - I suggest you dip into the Virus TI thread.. Where you get to see the many shades of Robby Rox. First, he wants a product thats going to blow his world away and make him elite (in this case a virus). Secondly, he will then bash everyone else who uses soft synths because they are not as elite as he is going to be with his Virus. Then he comes back and complains about how shit is, and wanting to sell it.

The guy just gets too emotional and posts every single thought process involved in his life and its annoying.. and on top of that hes ignorant and always spouts shit like "OK THEN WISE GUY, how about you put your money where your mouth is, and challenge me". Richie got sick of it and caved finally, this isn't the first time Robby has tried to flex his cock muscles with a competition.

I particularly loved his little bit about being so damned disciplined and committed meanwhile his top interests on his profile are ( in this order ) Girls, Gym , and a 3rd being music. He also has a rather sexist avatar that only a dumbass meat head would find cool. But i do find him extremely comical and would hate him to stop being himself.

I'm not a meathead I'm studying psychology and interning in a counseling program for crisis/suicidual teens. And I think what I'm trying to do is pretty damn respectable for a person.

I don't submit my music online because I have no REASON to. That myspace profile was the most random put together. But STILL to a degree, you sound gay, extremely in fact. Because for ANY man, with a PENIS, to insult another MAN for having an avatar of an attractive woman.. and you insult that man? Can you say homo?
And lets get something straight, YOU are the one who initially started busting my balls. YOU are the one who has nothing better to do with your time because YOU always initiate you lying bastard. I will quote every fucking thread if I need to, where I am perfectly respectable, and your punk ass comes strolling in with insults left and right. So don't give me that bs. Are you REALLY jealous because I commented on the 4 smartest people in that one thread and you werent one of them? Nothing else could explain your highschool girl antics.
