Holding off on our tickets until second round artists are announced, not enough good trance to make me wanna part with my $$$$ yet, also there's six of us and it's a lotta money when you add up the admin fees etc etc.
We may just chill on Saturday and hit up Ferry/Oakenfold on Sat nite.
Would love to see Christopher on the line up at UMF, he was so awesome at Nocturnal and Giant Hotel, but guess we gotta wait and see.

Agreed ^
Being a trance fan, this lineup so far seems to cater to the overwhelming trend of glitch, dubstep and techno that is catching the US by storm. So far this does not interest me what so ever. I love the festival vibe, but with crap production and not my taste of artists, I might pass on it this time. Hoping for some live trance acts or something rare for ultra.

I'll have to pass these feelings and comments onto my friend, since he helps produce the show. Maybe things will change next year. I tried to get Matt Cerf and Shawn Mitiska on the bill, but it seems UMF wasn't interested, since Matt said he hasn't heard anything from them.

they had a live PVD set, why not continue the trend.
above and beyond is now doing bookings for live sets, they should have got that. errr.....
and for stage production, some decoration like this

i mean honestly, decoration of stages cant be that hard for Ultra haha and it adds so much more.

Bayfront Ultra was so much better. Bicentennial has the potential but sadly Ultra doesnt know how to throw an event that large to compare with others on that sized scale. with the smaller bayfront location, it was perfect.
Spoke to some producers who will be there and they call Ultra a joke.
Ultra needs to step it up and I have a feeling that if phase 2 somehow convinces me to go, I will review the show as always - lacking production and quality.
We shall see...

Future Music Festival has an Anjunabeats stage. Come on Ultra, get a orgy of trance labels into one tent rather than mainstage.

I am with you on that. Looks like this year is all house and minimal. Eh I might check out Pryda night @ Set or just go to SSFD.
