The Sunday or Monday. Michelle will fly back Sunday, but I might stay an extra day to say high to friends, people I used to work with, etc, and never got a real chance to say a proper goodbye when I moved from SF (since I moved a couple months early, unexpectedly).

It really depends on flight prices. I only have the tickets to SF right now. I haven't booked the return flights yet. Prices are high on both Sunday and Monday right now (edit: Virgin has Monday flights for $56 now, but everyone is over $100), but should come down (according to Farecast) in the next few days.

I'll prob just book Virgin tomorrow morning to fly home on the Monday.

Michelle has to come back the Sunday.

Their cheapest flight on the Sunday and Monday on United is $114 + tax right now from SFO --> LAX (can fly out of OAK or SFO, but needs to go to LAX). Virgin is the only airline with anything cheaper. 6:55AM flight on sunday is $75 and most of the filghts on Monday are $56. No one else is under $100.

I do expect that the Sunday ticket prices will come down a little at some point in the next few days -- it's time for a 1 day fire sale that wher Fri/Sunday is a part of it, just $10 more or whatev per ticket. When you do roundtrips (when it gives you the indicator of whether to wait to buy your ticket or buy now), it says wait with a big drop coming. It might not happen, but prices aren't really gonna up anymore than they are now that's for sure. So I'll take the chance and wait. For them to even have an indicator for flights a week right now is unusual so they must be expecting somethign. Often when ur this close to weekend dates we're looking to fly, it says it's too close to the date to predict.


I'll be happy if I can get michelle a sunday flight for $80 (before taxes). Can't be southwest though. She's boycotting them and serious about it (southwest has $90 flights from OAK to LAX, but she won't let me book her with them. $114+ out of SFO).
