wtf kind of stupid ignorant comment was that
y dont you just stfu, i started listening to trance like 4 years ago, and it wasnt to be cool, it was because i liked the music, avid trance listeners around here dont just listen to trance around here to be cool, it is because they like it, areyou saying i bought turntables and records to be cool? no i bought it for my own pleasure of mixing what i like
fuckin moron

OH ICEBREAKER......PLEEEAAASSSEEE LLLOOOOVVVEEEE MMMEEEE!!!!!! i can't live if you don't. as for now, in general american shit sucks, but someday it will become the standard as america always does. i mean saying all these things about america is like me thinking you euro's sit around and drink tea all day. you do that right?

couldnt have put it better myself

but at a rave, all of the big euro djs I've seen have been disappointments, PVD was kinda boring, and oakenfold just plain sucked, while on the other hand ALL of my fav Djs to see live are from north america, I think anyone who has seen a Donalde Glaude show can vouche for how hard he throws it down, he is easily the best Dj to see live, chris lawrence prolly has spun the two best sets I've seen musically, and go to the DnB room while Diesel Boy or AK1200 is spinning, I'd trade a good live Dj for one that can produce a good studio track anyday

First of all AK1200 and Diesel Boy spin and produce the worse kind of dnb, i used to be a basshead myself back in the day. I live in Puerto Rico, which is the Ibiza of drum and bass, and have seen all of this people live thousands of times. They do not remotely compare to all the dnb Brits: Bad Company, Ed Rush & Optical, Cause4Concern, Concord Dawn, Andy C. etc.

Yes I admit that PVD can get boring sometimes, I fell asleep in Twilo once, but he still is PVD. Oakie sucks, tru. But Chris Lawrence is even more boring than PVD and Donalde Glaude is a clown ..

You probably don't even know what a party is supposed to be like if you haven't seen Tiesto live. Or any of the Dutchmen for that matter. Their crowd control and creation of ambiance is just simply out of this world.

And if you want an american producer, there is only one that is up to Euro standards: JOSH GABRIEL, period.

DJ PiO,

i think you are the only other american up here that understands me hehe. Josh Gabriel is a mother ****** of a producer. i'll even go a step further with this though. i'm getting tired of trance in general right now because it is all the god damn same. even my favorites like tiesto, PVD, armin etc. aren't doing it right now. i can't remember the last time i heard a song that just kicked me in the balls and couldn't stop listening to. i want some innovation in the music i listen to, something that differs from the norm, but still is just awesome.

as for you icebreaker, you are german right? well then who the fuck are you to talk about electronic music? other then PVD, i would say that all german shit is just that...shit. all that crappy hard shit coming out of there i'm surprised you said anything. lets face it, techno in america isn't as trendy as you might think. the listeners are few and far between, so really if anything, aren't you the one who has tried to hop on the band wagon listening to electronic just because some kid down the street told you about it. or maybe you were watching trance videos on tv and thought that it was so cool. really if americans listen to music to be cool they listen to puffy daddy and snoop dogg. so other then you dutchies out there no one else can really talk about american music.

trance is european, like black people are from africa. believe it or not, most amerian find trance quite boring. trance is not mainstream over here yet. Although we do have some good dj/producer, we do not have the prolific trance generator that europe has. But America owns everything else.

The Djs in america are just as talented as their European Brethren? You want proof? Go listen to Danny Tenaglia. One of the best DJs out there. Chris Lawrence ect.... Sure they don't play trance but trance isn't popular here in North America. I hear Delerium - Silence all the time but they never play the Tiesto ISOS mix, the ones they play are all progressive and such.

Also, don't rag on us Canadians either! We have Second Sun! (well, they were originally from Canada.)

That comment really did piss me off. I am an American and I bet I know JUST AS MUCH about electronic music as you do. Just because people live in the USA doesn't mean we don't have the knowledge.
