so out of both times being offered which one is the one recommended by you veterans? Is this party really crazy- Im going to sound like such a noob right now - but once your on the boat I guess your stuck till its over- unless your aquaman/woman.
Whats the deal with the freaky wear?
Any clarification on this event would be great- if you all are intrigued then so am I. Thanks.

Its not a typical boat, it doesnt rock uncomfortably making u seasick...otherwise i would never go...i dont get seasick but a rocking boat just gets annoying after a while.....it is a definitely a smooth ride....last year, i went on all 3 of the parties and they were all pretty amazing in their own ways, all were different music-wise (as they are this year)...the parties are crazy in that u get to meet all sorts of ppl who have all been generally a very welcoming bunch of ppl and know how to have fun....
so the M_Nus boat party, that is the one happening at night which i imagine will be really nice because it wont be in a sweaty club and the view of miami at night is pretty amazing...plus if u are into M_Nus label, then u have pretty good minimal techno style music being brought to u by those three guys...
and the freaky tikki party, well if u like to participate, it seems like ppl wear the silliest outfits, this was something i was totally unprepared for last year----i mean, i saw some guy wearing a leotard, jamaican colours with a rastafarian wig...and i asked the guy running the party, what their motivation is for such an event---he just said that we just want an atmosphere that is fun and ppl are free to unleash themselves.....and ppl DO.
the way i see it......
ticket prices may seem steep, but its an OPEN bar..so at a club, ur spending $10-15per drink (or on water), and in 4-5 hrs, u buy 3-5 drinks, and thats about $60 right there, so really the boat ticket cost seems to be only about $60 which is the cost of a "big" party in one of the "big" clubs....and u'd be waiting for a while at the bar at places like this.....there is only about 150-170ppl on the boat so its nice that its not crowded and ppl are lounging, dancing, doing whatever...
take ur pick. my first choice was the M_Nus since it'd be at night and pretty cool outdoor weather with the Miami downtown view.

Thanks freaky very good points and really helped me understand what to expect- that is the biggest drawback with never going to WMC- so many parties and not knowing really what the vibe is like. I have to brush up on the M-nus label and see what there all about - thanks again

looks like there is a SPECIAL discount for $100 tickets for the M_Nus boat party, i got mine for $107 (on Resident Advisor, it costs $125 plus fees).
email [email protected] with "M_Nus Tikki Tixxx" in the subject line and you will get a private ticket link emailed back to you..those were the instructions i was given and it worked out perfect for me.
from what it seems, there are limited tickets..
pretty cool.
