Seems to have done the trick. I'm still not getting the full 60, but it's up from approximately 30 to about 55 now. Good stuff.

A friend of mine was trying to get me to use usenet instead of torrents. From what I read, it looked like you have to pay a monthly fee or something, is that right?

Yea but you don't have to worry about some of the same shit you do with torrents.

For me I use rapidshits... Beats torrents most of the time for rarer stuff.

but every show i want is up within 20 mins, speeds are ALWAYS the same.

and it's capped @ your cable modems capacity, so like i said... 1.9 MB sec.

there's also games and music, but i just use it for movies and tv.
