Is that why he's always around?

As a bedroom dj, I can completely understand with what he does, and I'm proud of him as well. I would do the same for a chance to play what I love for a crowd

However... his music doesn't exactly match up with who he's opening for, like Lange/Ferry/Aly & Fila. I'm like........ wheres the trance at?

I don't think anyone is judging whether he can do that or not, I think it's just that they feel his style doesn't fit...and if it doesn't, he shouldn't be booked. Simple as that. The music is more important than any resident DJ.

I personally can't just. I'm dunno his style enough. But I can see where people are coming at if his style is too different.

it won't happen. you never see good techno at these events, and villalobos probably won't come to the states anytime in the near future. believe me, i wish this lineup would happen, but i'm definitely not holding my breath. if dice and carola are in fact on the lineup, i would actually consider going to this clusterfuck of an event.
