you also seem to be missing the point; nobody is going to deny that those at the pointy end of BP might have been shedding risk as they were privvy to advanced knowledge of the problem(s); we're denying that BP deliberately caused the disaster. 2 very different propositions. |
yeah i know about the judge's ruling, but Ken Salazar immediately made another attempt and he's back at work trying for a 3rd. I'm definitely not suggesting purposeful sabotage. It's the whole "you never want to let a crisis go to waste" thing that bothers me, and the fact that BP, Obama, Gore, et. al. will financially benefit massively from the legislation they're using the spill to try and push. Fuck the legislation- we have 2000 skimmers and are only using 20! Why?
Plus the obvious George Soros connection infuriates me... dude what would the Left be doing if Bush were president, and he lent $10 billion to Brazil to drill for oil, 3 days after his largest benefactor bought controlling interest in the drilling company receiving the funds? Impeachment hearings would be underway already- but today we hear silence from the "watchdog" media.
