In other news, i really don't know if i want this 75W reciever. *sigh* if i go the "amp" route, do i JUST NEED AN AMP? or do i need a pre-amp too?

i really can't remember who said that...

Wozzeck, if you do go the amp route, I am fairly sure that you will NOT need a preamp.

Also I am gonna say this, you're not gonna derive any more useful info from this thread. I would suggest you go to an ELECTRONICS only store and talk with a sales rep. He is your best bet.

Also, I feel that 75 is a bit to low. It is my experiance that you shouldn't go any lower than 100 watts.

Anyways, best of luck on whatever you get but follow my advice, go to a speaker/electronics store and talk with a sales rep who knows what he is doing.

Honestly, leave this forum. Don't ever give anyone advice on audio equipment again. You are a failure. You will never succeed. even if you did have an audio engineer degree, noone will ever hire you. You are a stupid, pathetic waste of carbon and quite frankly, your fetus should have been aborted.

hummm I think we got divergent opinions, that resulted in a personnal conflict here.

concerning speaker setup here's what I got to say :
I run sound for gigs, on 32 track mixers, and the speaker setup issue, trust me I've also studied that , ins and outs.

and that second part, well shut up dude, you don't have to get personnal there, you can if you want to, but like you came to clarify, I didn't know your background, and guess what YOU DON'T KNOW MINE EITHER.

peace

Fine. How about we agree to disagree then?

I'm done and I take back those insults.

this is beyond the point but anyhow :
when two pros talk about let's say , clusters , well there's always gonna be arguments, cause none can have the same opinion ,
I see a big reason to that :
personnal experience... they aren't the same for two people so it changes their way to see a subject in a particular.
and there's also the background, I don't mean to bite on djs, but quite regurlaly they don't have a fucking clue what they are talking about and all they want is volume, not quality, hence the problem with saturation at shitty clubs.

Wow. that was the best flame war i have EVER read on this forum.

congrats guys, you both just lost my respect as civilized individuals.

however, i appreciate a good flame war, and ray, you get the points for A) being right about most things B) getting much nastier and meaner C) making sense the whole time.

Jdat.. you amused me with your "knowledge"

BTW, i can hear probably only down to about 30Hz, i have been to see ozzy ozbourne in the front row, as well as actually sat INSIDE a 15" subwoofer bass bin.

I probably wrecked my hearing for good there.. i wish i had known i would have wanted to be a DJ i would have taken better care of my ears.
