TBA - the guy who dropped Solarcoaster to start off was Sample Gee, he spun an awesome set.

And yeah, I was wearing a black shirt with white dragons and Bruce Lee on it .. I was up on the podium at the left for a while, and then was front row centre for most of the rest of the night (except for about 15 minutes when Diggs & Morro's mates crushed me out of the way )

It's now ~7:30pm on monday night and I've had 12hrs sleep since 8:00am friday.

Altitude .002 was awesome! Pure trance has finally come back to Sydney.

Lee Hardy opened with come killer progressive trance which was just right to build the mood for Liquid M (did you know Lee is a chef?). Liquid M was just what the doctor ordered. When that HOT (:eyespop singer started the vocals that just blew the roof off.

Sample Gee proved (to me anyway) that local djs (I know he's from N.Z.) can match it with the best of them. His use of the sampler or sequencer or some effects machine was perfect. It greatly improved the quality of the current song. He was obviously a man who knows and loves trance because the way he played to the crowd was sensational. A real journeyman. (to TBA: he played Solar Stone - Solarcoaster @ the beginning)

My good mates, Diggs & Morro, were up next and the journey continued very nicely for the next 1.5hrs. I can never seem to remember the name of the songs that were played during the night. I'll make sure I get a playlist nextime. Let's just agree that it was all good. Very good.

I only caught a little bit of Simon Sez, good while I was there.

I went with my mate Kerrin Hughes (I think he'll be playing @ the next one) and it was good to see Tranzmit again (next time we'll be able to go back to yours) and webmeister. Sorry I didn't meet you Yoda, but I did see you there. Next time we should organise a proper meet up.

It was then onto Musikal Klouds 4 out @ some sports centre in Giraweena. Kerrin was playing from 2-3am b2b with Jim Jams and he made sure he played (on-loan from my bro) Icarus - Furlicht(?). It went off! Some other good trance Djs on the night were Stylez and Nex LeVel. We walked out @ 8:00am, went back to my place, then decided to go to...

Sounds on Sunday. Saw Andrew James play. Always awesome. Spent most of the night in the funky house/breaks room though because by that stage I was pretty tired . Finished there @ 10:00pm and finally decided to go home and go to bed, as I had to be @ uni @ 9:00am today.

I think it was a pretty good weekend. Gonna go to bed now. See you all @ the next Altitude, which, as rumor has it, is on the 13th September.

Hi guys - this is my first post on TA but I just had to say what a great night Altitude.002 was! It's about time a good melodic uplifting trance night arrived in Sydney. SampleGee was fantastic, as were Liquid M and Diggs & Morro. I'm sooooo up for the next one (September 13th, apparently) but wouldn't you know it, I'm out of town that weekend!

Thanks to whoever of you guys it was who told me about this site - you were wearing a black singlet and I think you said your name was John (sorry if not; I was mashed!); I was in a Love Parade T-shirt (some of the time, anyway) going mental on the dancefloor and generally making a fool of myself...

great to hear everyone enjoyed the second installment of altitude. Was another fantastic night to put on and to play at...going to have to address that whole size problem though...superdome maybe?

was great to get to meet webmeister and tranzmit - tranzmit, sorry to hear about your cd getting racked...some people are pricks! and Webmeister, that track was Orion - See Me Here, absolute cracker of a track and one of my favourites of the moment, if not the favourite!

To those hanging out for the next one it is september 13th! same time, same place...It looks to be getting to the point where early arrival is essential so i recommend rocking up early.

We'll be releasing all the details about the night shortly, so keep an ear out! I'll be sure to let you all know!

wow, looking good! Those are all very, very nice tracks! Just the kind of stuff I would expect to be played at Altitude.
