It's not about democracy. That's the bullshit reason that Bush gave to try and justify invading Iraq, that the Iraqi people "wanted democracy." While it may very well be true that the Libyan people want democracy, this is about preventing genocide. It's about preventing a tyrannical dictator from slaughtering thousands and thousands of his own people. The Iraqi people didn't ask for us to invade their country. The Libyan people begged the world for help, and we answered.
