Thank God there are still some Rock Stars around today.
I'm amazed that more DJs don't follow the same path. I mean of all the stories we hear of DJs getting whacked out of their minds, it seems like none have died as a result.

At least last time you Brits got pissed off, we got punk music out of it. This time, it'll probably just end up being embers breaks

More than selling their music Rock Stars also sell their image and personality. Even more true with hip hop. DJs sell their work more than selling themselves. So while most of them happen to be party animals - its not part of the job.

she was funny on buzzcocks... only because she got wasted and made a fool of herself though.
right at the start of this she begs for more drinks haha
then simon tries an intervention in part 3, but she says the sober version of herself is dead

Never heard any of her music. For a long time, I didn't even know that she was a musician, just that she was somebody who did a lot of drugs and was famous for some reason, heh.
Gf told me that "Rehab" was the most famous, so I checked, but hadn't heard it before.

I listened to some of her stuff just now and it's not really my style. Does seem like she was talented, though, so it is a loss to the world of music.

All the great ones die at 27! Such a sad, but expected, loss!
