out in long island tho there are downtree's/power lines and some flooding i think like 400,000 people dont got power

I'm not working tomorrow. Should I make the drive and lookout for one?

No damage/flooding/power outs at my house. But I do know people at Pompton Lakes that got water all the way to their staircase to the second flood. They are still stuck on the 2nd floor and waiting for the police to get them. They were real wise not evacuating thinking they would be ok after all the floods they had past few years. They told me a one floor house drifted all the way to their front of the house and hit a poll. Crazy stuff going on by me at Passaic/Pompton flood areas. I'm just glad my house is not in a flood zone...

^Sucks. Yeah, I'd say fuck LIPA as well. However I'm sure they're doing the best they can to restore power to LI. I was just thinking to myself again how large LI really is.

I got my power shortly after 11PM.

Im not far from there but my area didn't get hit quite that bad.

I stayed in Westchester for most of the weekend. Wasn't bad in New Rochelle but lower nearby areas got hit hard. The Hutchinson parkway was literally a rolling river. Had to take I95 home and that was pretty clear. No traffic and barely any cars on the road. No tolls it was the fastest ride home ever.
