QUIT PLAYIN GAMES WITH MY HEART, CARDIO

Tell me about it. I set myself the goal of running 250 kilometres (155.3 miles) until April... if this doesn't help me get rid of my stomach, nothing will

(I've already run 36% of the whole distance in roughly 20 days... I guess I'm doing okay)

You started P90X2? What's the difference between it and P90?

I found myself in a similar situation - living alone I make too much food. It's not that I eat unhealthy, as I do eat a lot of vegetables and salad. Some days I only eat one meal, some days none. My problem is that I haven't quite found the right balance when it comes to cooking for one - I'm often cooking slightly too much food, and rather than save a small portion for the next day I end up forcing myself to just finish it. I weighed myself when I was home and learned that I hadn't gained a single pound, but I have noticed a bit of a gut peeking out (alcohol related...)

Anyway, I've been exercising more since getting back out here. I walk to and from school every day (1.2 miles each way) which is nothing but it gets the blood pumping and I'm always speed walking. I've also been doing the P90, albeit selectively. I've been doing the cardio 2 or 3 times a week (my only real desire is to do that, anyway) and then once or twice a week I'll do a different workout (yoga, plio, or kenpo).

I'm trying to get a few friends together to play some sports on weekends as well. 6 of us played some soccer last weekend which was nice. That's the only way I can reallly motivate myself to work out as otherwise my desire lessens over time. Playing soccer or tennis I can run for hours.

LOL conditioning!

I was humping to work everyday with it and my coworkers said I looked like a hobo drifter with my tent and sleeping pad attached to it so I took it off lol.

Been biking every day (well almost every day), cutting out a lot of carbs (though I am addicted to bread), and I am almost totally off any sort of sugary beverage (been off soda for a while, but now I am including juices as well).

My gut is definitely smaller and my legs are getting really toned, which I am the most excited about since thats good for snowboarding (I sort of enjoy having extra weight on my friends when I am on the mountain, vroom ).

Been debating signing up for the Y again and swimming laps in the morning, but I tried that before and I don't know if I can stick the motivation. I really do enjoy swimming though.

I am also going to work on a weight plan for upperbody strength over the next week or so. My brother was a free weight fanatic and has a pretty nice set of weights in the basement.

My mile pace is usually 6:30-7:00, and that's not really running very hard.

I am Kenyan though.
