Great contest IN_RAINBOWS, and congrats to Tresor7. A lot of facepalming going on here looking at those answers, Signum - Second Wave probably being the most obvious one that I missed.

On #11 I have written down "2003". Weird that certain years have certain sounds/styles.

Though I didn't even recognize #21 at all it's obvious afterwards.

Weird that no one got #36, guess "White" would have been easier.

#48 is one of those classics that I never remember what they are, Markus Schulz has played it in his classics showcases many times.

Also weird that no one got #69.

#73 is a awesome track, but for some reason it's also very difficult to place.

One of the tracks that annoyed me the most was #79, classic Airbase!

Should have listened to the vocals on #80 more carefully, though I'm born in Helsinki I did never like that track.

Would have been an easy point to say Faithless on #89, unmistakably Maxi Jazz there, but I passed on it.

Should have recognized the A&B sound in #95, oh Paavo and his piano.

Once again - thank you IN_RAINBOWS for putting the contest together, and to all participants. It was fun to look through all those samples and test my memory. As always, I got to a point when I thought I couldn't identify any track more but now, after the answers are published, am familiar with like 20 other songs .

I've never been a fan of Joop or Markus Schulz, but #83 reminded me of "The Future (Markus Schulz Remix)". Fantastic work; everything one would expect from a trance anthem.

Great, can't wait to hear from the new contest. Could you maybe send me a message if it has started, I'm sure taking part, though I won't reach a high score cos I'm not really into trouse or a big fan of the latest trance styles. Thanks again for being so kind with me, it was my first contest, so I'm glad that all went pretty well and you guys had a good time guessing the tracks. Don't worry, it's freaking hard to get a track with no vocals from just 15 seconds hearing it, cos there are so many tunes out there that you know but don't know by name or would know, but the sample doesn't give away enough, you have to have a trance knowledge to reach a high score on this competition. Maybe 100 tracks was a bit much, but I found too many great tracks that I wanted to include, so it was more 100 instead of 200 than less.

Haha, 100 is a lot, keeps people busy and drives us guessing folks mad.

Yep, I think that when the tracks are excessive in number, it deters newcomers from joining the competition.

You think it would be better to do it with 50-70 tracks? Any opinios? I've 100 tracks for the next contest now.

Yes, I prefer around 70, but if you already have made 100 samples, then go with that.
