Well, that makes me think two things;
The first is about the "think" you did as well with or without procrastination. It's relative to a certain level of success but it kind of reminds me of Frasier's less is more rule: Is less is more, think about how much more more could be.
What I'm saying is, you probably could have excelled even beyond what you managed to achieve, but you didn't need to as it sounds like you were happy with "pretty much A's" which by anyones standard is great. I think it's more of a case you've been smart enough to not have to try harder than you can get away with. I had one guy in my class that was the only guy who never missed a deadline in 6 years of school. He was devastated he only got 6 x A*'s (A - with outstanding distinction) and 5 x A's at GCSE level, and he even asked for 3 of those A's to be reviewed as he felt they should have been A*'s. He's now a professor in genetics at Oxford.
Which brings me on to the second point - by the detail in your posts, you don't even register on the scale as a procrastinator. You do the planning, time management, the coursework and the prep work. The only bit you seem put off is the actual execution which frankly everyone hates doing (apart from that guy above) and as you rightly say is just fucking annoying, but by that stage the job is virtually completed anyway.
