the fact that you had to justify yourself to a complete stranger on just how not stupid you are by listing a bunch of stuff none of us care or believe actually proves my point even more.

I'm trying to figure out here is what exactly is the change you hope occurs. Like I said, the DJ Mag Poll is big business now, and I'm sure they found incredible success in opening it up to Facebook, which was simply an extension of the old 'vote-in' option they had before. There's little chance they'll change the voting method.

The only other outcome I can see such a movement hoping to achieve is in shaming voters into rethinking how they vote when they see they've been participating in a poll that can easily be manipulated for commercial gains. Well... um, yeah. That's been the complaint in the poll for years now. Anyone worth their salt knows this already. Yet, it seems to be getting worse with each year.

So again, I have to wonder what's the hopeful outcome in this?

His fan base is composed of passionate fans, not MTV viewers responding to marketing pleas. Also although Armin has made a couple of tunes that end up in the mainstream, he's never deliberately (at least it seems this way) gone after after sales in that area - he's less of a sell out.

That being said, I wouldn't vote Armin.

Perhaps you should apply your vast intellligence to figure out why your cunning plan is full of holes and is irrelevant to everyone other than the few tranceheads who still give a crap about the DJ Mag poll.

I wasn't justifying myself, because as you've acknowledged - you are a complete stranger. And one with poor punctuation, no less, which makes the need for me to justify myself change from negligible, to non-existent.

Similarly, your opinions on the veracity of my comments make not an iota of difference. To summarise: not a f*ck was given.

I don't need to. Everything is as it should be. I'd rather just laud it over you when I prove you wrong

Hahaha. Go right ahead. I am sure that this will be the year DJ Mag is convinced of its many sins and repents to all of the dance music fans out there.

It's not about what they want, it's about what the fans want. All I'm going to say is that there is more to this than you all see. The missing element will strengthen the case for change massively. That is all.

So, when Armin was the king for 3 consecutive fucking years nothing was wrong? You were totally okay with that?
