I can find plenty of ways to maintain proper physical health, while being part of a group, that cost significantly less than $500. I don't see why, if money is tight, you wouldn't want to choose a more affordable alternative.

To each their own.

Holy crap you people can be such fucking children.

Ya some of you might have better vocabulary than a school child...but the mentality is the same.

You invent exaggerated versions of what a person says so that you can start bashing someone and what? be like "haha..i'm better than that person"

Well good for you. you're better than a high school drop out who drives a fucking forklift.

The whole point of this thread is simple:

Share some fucking ideas on how to cut costs and pinch a few pennies for who ever might benefit from said ideas/information.

Sorry for stealing your valuable time you very important and successful businessman.

also: it's hockey. I'm not going to spend $30 a month to go to a gym so i can do manual lifting for my source of 'exercise/entertainment.'

and baseball is for fat people.

Buddy, you used the words "fundamentally broke". Say what you fucking mean then.

Anyway, budgeting isn't rocket science. The majority of what people spend their money aren't NEEDS. You could cut a lot of shit out of your life to save money. Drink less booze, smoke less cigarettes (or not at all!) prepare more of your own meals, go out less, spend less on entertainment, etc.

I used to not have a phone, or any pets, or a television. You spend far less time at home, and far less time with other people because they can't get in touch with you, and... wait, shit, this is awful.

Only you can gauge your own spending habits. Stop buying stupid, unnecessary shit (duh). Buy frozen fish and vegetables and whole milk. There's your diet. Stop buying alcohol and cigarettes, so that you can live longer and enjoy a life full of foregoing all the little, simple pleasu- wait, shit, this is awful.

Don't they make hockey computer games? Those ought to be much cheaper.
