While jvs did make some good points, I think his intention was to say that there are still great tracks being produced today.
It's true, some tracks today hold up every nicely and would over shadow some old school tracks.

^ would be a fine example of production in these recent years (2009 I believe)
I actually liked the song he posted when he compared it with Gouryella. That "Feel" track. But I wouldn't say it was better than Gouryella. Gouryella has a nicer bassline, with an amazing build-up that flows really well. the breakdown and drop is far superior.
jvs "Feel" track is also good though, it's got a nice retro melody that could make someone wanna get off their rusty dusty and start dancing. both are great tracks, but Gouryella is still better.
I don't know why he totally dissed 1999 though. lots of good stuff came out that year.
