Nah, doubt it... kind of late in the game for that now, right?

Sorry, I don't have one (yet).

I had a listen, well mixed but the typical stuff: Sunblind, Bailamos, Pistolwhip, lots of Ferry Corsten, etc.

yeah, trance-wise PVD's sound around that time was second to none imo

How about you? It's hard to imagine you do, considering how you reply to people here and what that type of encounter would be like for you face to face with someone.

Anyway, good thread Matt. Looking forward to checking out some of the tracks posted in here.

I recommend you ask one of the TAs who's met me what I'm like in person. Lews, JonDC and Dave King would be good to start with, as we're all going down to Brighton to see J00F on Saturday.

Don't care. You're a dickhead on here and there's no reason for it. I'd still buy you a drink if we met in person though. Just don't mouth off.

While jvs did make some good points, I think his intention was to say that there are still great tracks being produced today.

It's true, some tracks today hold up every nicely and would over shadow some old school tracks.

Sela & Briggs - This Day Will Come (Paul Webster Remix)

^ would be a fine example of production in these recent years (2009 I believe)

I actually liked the song he posted when he compared it with Gouryella. That "Feel" track. But I wouldn't say it was better than Gouryella. Gouryella has a nicer bassline, with an amazing build-up that flows really well. the breakdown and drop is far superior.

jvs "Feel" track is also good though, it's got a nice retro melody that could make someone wanna get off their rusty dusty and start dancing. both are great tracks, but Gouryella is still better.

I don't know why he totally dissed 1999 though. lots of good stuff came out that year.
