I drink a gallon per week. Two mugs every morning, one with lunch. When I get home after football practice, the first thing I do is pour myself another glass of milk.

As for the kidney stones, should my grandfather and I be strong candidates by now?

Like I said, there are tons of genetical parameters, but you shouldn't worry about it. I think my initial comment was taken a bit too strong by the community. Besides, there are papers that argue the exact opposite of my statement (debate among experts). I didn't mean it as "you shouldn't drink milk" as much as "you shouldn't overdo it", personally knowing people that drink 5+ litres a day.

Kidney stones are overwhelmingly a genetic predisposition, not due to too much calcium intake. Yes, the more common variant of a kidney stone is primarily composed of calcium, and milk has calcium, but this is about as straightforwardly wrong as the eating high cholesterol (like eggs) gives you high cholesterol myth.

So long as milk doesn't cause digestive or breathing (asthmatics) issues for you, it can be an excellent source of vitamin D and calcium, and a very good source of protein. Yes, it contains animal fats and proteins, but these are excellent for your health and musculature, and like anything else, the fat content will not harm you so long as you realize its a calorie-rich food product, and consuming more calories than you burn causes your body to create fat.

Skim is really lame and unnecessary unless you're needing to lose huge amounts of weight and can't stand to give up milk. But there's also probably a slew of other things you can't *stand* to give up if you're needing to lose a huge amount of weight, huh?

MMM.

I drink, what they call, Raw Milk. I call it milk and the stuff you typically buy at the grocery store, rice water. That stuff is downright nasty.

I only use it as a solvent for hash. A good warm cup with some chocolate milk powder is ideal for coma-ing your way through a boring or miserable winter day.

Well, duh! Of course Lira drinks that much milk. Haven't you seen how much that man loves breasts??

Also, I only drink almond milk. I don't like the taste of soy milk. I will drink regular milk if I'm out of town and eating cereal or something.

Looking at animals you can see they stop drinking milk after childhood as the body doesn't need milk. The kidneys have to work hard if they would continue drinking milk, so from that point your right and it's the same for people. But the reason is not for kidney stones.

I used Google translate for this:
quote:
Lactose intolerance
The vast majority of the world is indeed ill from drinking milk, they are lactose intolerant. This means that the milk sugar, lactose, can not properly digest. Although breast milk also contains lactose, babies do digest it. This generally stops when stopped breastfeeding.

Except for Europeans and North Americans, they have evolved so that they can continue to drink milk. But that was the intention of Mother Nature?

Ninety percent of Asians, seventy percent of Africans and fifty percent of South Americans are lactose intolerant. While only fifteen percent of whites not against drinking milk can. As many as seventy percent of the world population can not tolerate milk. And it is striking that if you stop drinking milk, your body naturally lactose intolerant is.
Scientists are convinced that the human body is not built to drink milk

So in general milk is bad for your health and most people will get ill from drinking it daily. For the reason mentioned above System-J doesn't get ill, but he can't read it as I'm on his ignore list.

I drink milk every morning, drink it in coffee and like Latte Macchiato.
